Bible Tiles began as a passion project, born from a love for meaningful Bible note-taking and frustration with the lack of truly intuitive digital options available. Developed initially by a single individual, it grew from a desire to create a tool that felt less like software and more like an extension of a well-loved physical Bible – a space for deep, personal engagement with the text.Our commitment is unwavering: Bible Tiles will always be 100% free, will never track your personal data, and is dedicated to providing an open, accessible, and distraction-free experience for everyone seeking to connect with the Word. We believe that access to quality Bible study tools should be without barrier or compromise.We are structured as a California nonprofit corporation and are currently in the process of obtaining federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. This structure reflects our core mission: to serve the community, not to generate profit.Support through donations is always optional but deeply appreciated, as it allows us to further this mission. This Privacy Policy explains how Bible Tiles ("we," "us," or "our"), the nonprofit organization developing Bible Tiles, handles information in relation to the Bible Tiles mobile application (the "App").Our core principle is privacy by design. The App is built to be a personal tool for your Bible study, operating primarily offline and without collecting your personal data.1. Information We Do NOT CollectWe do not collect, store, transmit, or track any personally identifiable information (PII) or usage data through the Bible Tiles App. This includes, but is not limited to:- Your name, email address, or other contact information.

- Your usage patterns within the App (e.g., which features you use, how often you open the App).
- Any content you create within the App (notes, highlights, bookmarks).2. Information Stored Locally on Your DeviceAll your notes, highlights, bookmarks, settings, and other data you create within the Bible Tiles App are stored locally on your device(s). We do not have access to this information. You are responsible for the security of your own device(s).3. iCloud Sync (if enabled in user settings)Bible Tiles offers a feature to sync your data across your Apple devices using Apple's iCloud service.- Your Choice: Using iCloud Sync is entirely optional, it can be disabled at any time in Settings>Your Name>iCloud>Saved to iCloud>Toggle iCloud off on Bible Tiles
- Apple's Role: If enabled, your App data will be stored in your iCloud account according to Apple's terms and privacy policies. We do not have access to this data.

- Responsibility: You are responsible for backing up your User Content. We are not responsible for loss of data due to device failure or accidental deletion.3. Intellectual Property- The App: All intellectual property rights in the App, including its code, design, and branding, belong to Bible Tiles or its licensors.
- Bible Texts: Copyrights for included Bible translations belong to their respective publishers.4. Disclaimers- "As Is": The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind.
